The Jurismus organisation prides itself in establishing an extensive social and professional international network for young lawyers.
SJP Law, based in Hull, England and one of the region’s leading commercial solicitors, were proud to host the annual Jurismus International conference in Hull last 16th to 18th June 2016.
The four-day conference was packed with activities, including a practical workshop on how delegates could develop their own firms; a fictional trial with tips on developing advocacy and presentation skills; and a networking event with local businesses and advisors.
Leisure activities included clay pigeon shooting; dinner at the world-renowned Deep aquarium; and welly wanging (which, contrary to popular belief, is a genuine British pastime) .
Delegates got to see that Hull and the Humber region is a fantastic part of the world in which to invest and do business, as the 4th largest trading estuary in Europe and the upcoming City of Culture 2017.
