25th anniversary of Eurojuris Norway

25th anniversary of Eurojuris Norway

Every year, Eurojuris Norway holds two annual congresses, most recently the Autumn Congress of 2016 from 4th to 6th November in Oslo. This marked the 25th Anniversary of Eurojuris Norway and due to the anniversary, the event was extended by one extra day. The celebrations included a dinner show at the venue Wallmans in Oslo on Friday night and a gala dinner on Saturday night in Holmenkollen Restaurant, just at the outskirts of Oslo.

The turnout at this Autumn Congress was again record-breaking with 150 delegates in total. As the current member count equals approximately 220, we are obviously very pleased to have such a high rate of the members participating at our congresses. Once again, this illustrates that the members of Eurojuris Norway value the opportunities and benefits that the organisation provides, in terms of professional development, networking and socialising.

The programme of the congress included presentations by two high court judges and a most inspiring presentation by the well-known motivational speaker Henrik Aase. The professional part of the programme finished Saturday with 3 hours of practice groups.

Furthermore, the ordinary congress was preceded by a business development and management session aimed at everybody involved in management and marketing within the 15 member firms. The focus of this session was how to keep up with current trends and technology and how to market and benefit from the Eurojuris brand.

Eurojuris Norway was also very pleased and honored to have guests from Eurojuris International attending this congress – namely the newly elected President, Michael Proksch, and Secretary General, Diane Tries. Michael Proksch addressed the Norwegian delegates on Saturday with some information about the status of Eurojuris International, while also inviting the Norwegian members to participate in the international events to a greater extent.
