Earlier this year at the Malaga Congress, Sophie Clanchet was elected President of Eurojuris France, the very first Eurojuris association created in 1987. This young and dynamic lawyer from Metz who is specialised in construction and labour law joined us back in 2010.
We wanted to learn about her vision and strategy for the French association in the next two years, here is her answer :
“Over the course of my two-year mandate, I have several priorities set. Firstly, our duty is to serve our member base to the best of our abilities. In an era of Uberisation of the law and the importance of new technologies in our profession, we owe our members the best training and continuous improvement opportunities in order to help them pave their way to excellence in law entrepreneurship, management and cybersecurity.”
“Secondly, we intend to support them in communication strategy and deliverables. We have collaborated with a communications agency in order to work towards our position of leader in our market segment and support our local members benefit directly from our marketing and communication campaign.”
“Lastly, I hope we can reinforce the collaboration and assistance within the network and through a series of meetings and the creation of a special commission dedicated to helping law firm succeed and thrive in these current times of financial turmoil.”
What does Eurojuris France do best ?
“Eurojuris France is the oldest and the most renowned lawyers’ network in the country. Certified ISO 9001 like most of its members, expertise is in our DNA. One of our main strengths is our specialities : 30% of Eurojuris member firms are highly specialised in very specific domains of the law, it is 10% more than the French average firms in the country. This gives us a unique position towards our clients and our competition. Nonetheless, our member firms all managed to keep a human size and cherish the relationship they developed with their clients throughout years of collaboration. Eurojuris France also offers a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere, best practice opportunities and expertise through the Managers Club which helps firms reach leadership excellence.”
You talked earlier about your communication plan and roll-out for the coming two years. Can you give us a few examples of deliverables ?
“Our main focus is to demonstrate our know how and professionalism. We use all channels available to us : we are very active on social media such as Twitter and LinkedIn where we share most of our publication and work. We also showcase our expertise through numerous press articles, television and radio interviews and are present on important sports events such as the EURO 2016.”
Eurojuris France will celebrate its 30th anniversary on 20th January 2017. Can you give us some insights on what to expect ?
“Our 30th anniversary will be marking three decades of great achievements for Eurojuris France and we even aim to a much bigger success by 2050. It will be the occasion to invite guest speakers and subject matter experts in various fields of the law and economics. This event will be held in Chateau de Versailles, one of our most prestigious French landmarks. So, save the date and mark your diaries on 19th and 20th January 2017.”
