If there is one word sticking out after our interview with Cristina Trelea, founder of Lex Consulting in Bucharest, it is love.
This highly experienced and multilingual attorney is truly passionate about her work and started practicing law in 1996.
She firstly specialised in criminal law and dealt with many fraud cases before creating her own firm back in 1998 offering a 360° approach to her clients.
Cristina chooses her partners with the greatest attention and care. She says she needs to be surrounded by passionate and positive individuals and explains : “My collaborators and I work very closely, we’re like family”. She adds : “When I interview candidates, I look for passion in their heart and soul. To me, passion for what you do is essential and I truly believe that it brings the best out of people”.
When asked if she will join Eurojuris upcoming Practise Groups in Marseille from 12th to 15th May, she replies : “Unfortunately, it falls right on my 20th graduation anniversary. I’m saddened to miss this great opportunity to re-connect with colleagues and meet new ones. Since I joined the network, I met wonderful people and I’m dealing with at least 10 new contracts directly linked to those interactions”. She adds : “Nonetheless, our firm will be greatly represented by one of my close collaborators, a part of me will be there with you”.
